Easily Create Interactive Photo Galleries for your website

The Easy WebContent Complete system includes the awesome Photo Gallery add-on. With the Photo Gallery add-on, you can simply share your photos and images with the visitors to your website or blog. How your photos are presented is totally up to you. There are numerous fully customizable templates to choose from in order to make your site stand out from the rest.

The Photo Gallery feature is extremely user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for even the most inexperienced and novice web designers. No HTML or special coding skills are needed. Simply select a template, customize it to your specifications and upload your images.

How to use the Photo Gallery Add-on

When the Photo Gallery Add-On is opened, a list of existing galleries will populate in the menu. If you wish to use one of these galleries, simply click “Insert to Page” beside the desired Photo Gallery. You also have the options to edit and preview these existing galleries.

In order to create a new Photo Gallery, simply name it in the field under “Create New Photo Gallery Add-On” and click “Continue.” On the next screen you will be prompted to select from the available templates and sizes you would like. You can preview these templates before choosing them and once you have made your choice, click “Select This Template.” It is important to remember to use a size that fits into the area it is being inserted into.

This will bring you to the customization menu where you can choose the size and color theme of your Photo Gallery from the “Preset Options” drop-down menu. In the left window, you can preview what your final Photo Gallery will look like on the fly as you customize it to your exact specifications. Under the “Preset Options” drop-down menu, you can pick the theme you would like your gallery to utilize. Examples of existing themes are metal, chrome, gold, pastel, etc. and you can choose which style will fit your web page best.

 

Under the “Manage Background” portion of this menu, you have a wide array of choices to tailor your gallery to your liking. You can choose your background color and its transparency by using the slider with your mouse. Other options include whether or not to frame your photos with a border as well as the border’s thickness and color.

You can even go as far as choosing the size of and spacing between the thumbnail images of your photos. Furthermore, you can even add music to your Photo Gallery by uploading an mp3 or other valid music file and set the volume and color of volume control.

After customizing your Photo Gallery, click “Populate Gallery” to add albums and images. To begin, click the “Create New Album” button. You will be prompted to name your album and upload an image for the album cover. Now you can upload images to this album by clicking “Add New Image” and then “Browse For Image.” Locate the desired file on your hard drive and click “Open.” You can also attribute a title and description to each photo then click “Submit.”

This will return you to the Photo Gallery Manager where you can edit any images, move them up and down or delete them.

Once you are finished adding images to your gallery, click “Publish Gallery” in order to see the available options. First, you can quickly and easily publish your gallery to the page you are currently editing by simply clicking “Insert To Page.” Beneath this button you will see a field with the HTML embed code for your gallery.

You can copy and paste this code in order to embed this Photo Gallery into any web page. Additionally, a direct URL to your gallery is generated so that you can share it with others via email, etc. When this URL is entered into a web browser, the user will see the Photo Gallery you have created. Keep in mind that you can return at any time to add additional photos to existing galleries.
